Dipped in a controlled environment, Maibec's unique staining method seals the shingles all around for significantly greater stability after installation. Maibec offers custom color from Cabot's Stains on three different grades: Nantuckets (P&R Extras K.D.), Kennebunk (P&R Clears K.D.), and Bar Harbor (P&R 2nd Clears K.D.). The stain is guaranteed not to crack, blister, peel or chip for five years (one coat) or 15 years (2 coats) and boasts a 30 year guarantee against decay.
